For when the trumpet sounds, the Christians who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. It will happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. Not all of us will die, but we will all be transformed. 'But let me tell you a wonderful secret God has revealed to us. Paul revealed this event in his letter to the Corinthians: Loosely translated, the word 'rapture' means to 'catch up' or 'snatch away.' Prior to the Tribulation period, Jesus Christ will return in the clouds to gather all earthly believers unto Himself.
In all likelihood, the next event on God's prophetic calendar is the rapture of the church.
